Cooling
systems using drizzling mist

The drizzling mist
systems have been used efficiently for cooling down open spaces for
about ten years.
These systems, if correctly planned and installed, are able to
reduce the outside-temperature in the case of hot weather by as many
as 15°C.
The misting systems are substantially reducing suspended dust and
neutralize odors.
We project and realize such systems for every exigency, using the
very best components in order to guarantee faultless functioning at
all times. |

Applying a pressure of
70 bar, it is possible to atomize water drops down to a diameter of
less than ten micron, causing in instant evaporation which is
reducing considerably the ambient temperature.
The personal feeling is that of a pleasant slight breeze on the
skin, giving relief and coolness.
The air is evaporating the moisture of our skin through the heat
emanated by our body.
This phenomenon is called “cooling by evaporation” or “adiabatic
cooling”. |

Relative humidity is
the quantity of water present in the air, compared with the maximum
quantity the air could absorb at the same temperature.
This is a deciding factor for the cooling potential of the system.
With a minor relative humidity, more water can be vaporized and
consequently more heat can be eliminated.
The cooling by means of drizzling mist can efficiently be employed
in any situation, due to the fact that when temperatures reach a
maximum during the day, then the relative humidity is normally at a
minimum. |
